Rudy Cortese is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and entertainer, on the 5-string banjo, mandolin, guitar, and fiddle.

Rudy is a multi award winning banjo player. His music includes original compositions as well as covers in the genres of bluegrass, rhythm & roots, Americana/country, classical, and world music.

Rudy approaches his songwriting, vocals and instrumentation with urgency and authenticity. Each performance is unique, fun, and full of surprises.

Rudy's Bluegrass Revue brought so much energy and fun to our event. Their music is truly captivating!

The Band

Elizabeth Kronlage, on harmony vocals, tenor guitar, and cello. Elizabeth and Rudy were the specialty duet vocal champions, at the Wickenburg, AZ Bluegrass Festival in 2019. Elizabeth's harmony and lead vocals give an authentic mountain-bluegrass sound.

Chris Carter holds down the rhythm on upright bass. A Madison County native, he has been in the musical scene his whole life. He is pictured here, outstanding in his field.
